Ensuring an Informed Laboratory System
APHL supports the work of public health laboratories and shapes laboratory systems by collecting and translating data into actionable information for our members and partners. We produce survey reports, guidance documents, toolkits, dashboards and more for focus areas and programs across the Association, which public health laboratories can use to inform decisions, guide continuous improvement activities to strengthen laboratory services and systems, and enhance efficiency to advance public health.
We capture a wealth of information generated by public health laboratories and leverage it to develop resources and tools to improve laboratory operations and management. The knowledge and experiences of our members are translated into model practices, insights and decision-making.
Learn More About Knowledge ManagementMonitoring and evaluation (M&E) helps us assess program impact, effectiveness and efficiency. M&E uses evidence to improve performance, share lessons learned and advance continuous quality improvement.
